The Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager Job Activities:
To assist in the day-to-day running of the Nursery, working in partnership with the Managers and the room leaders. Duties will include: To comply with all policies and procedures set by Woodend private day nursery within the guidelines of OFSTED requirements. To offer all children Equal Opportunities with regards to their religious persuasion, racial origins, gender, disability, culture, or linguistic background, challenging any discriminatory behaviour. To work as part of a team and to promote and follow daily routines to a high standard. To have a good understanding of child development. Produce Development Records for individual children where needed. Provide stimulating, creative, and safe play activities. Provide opportunities for children to develop through play. Provide dedicated care for children throughout the day with regard to their physical, emotional, and intellectual needs. To maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the setting, including tidying away toys and equipment. To liaise with parents (working in partnership), including your involvement in Parents Evenings. To hold a cleared DBS check and two satisfactory references which will be obtained before employment.
