Senior Mechanical Estimator

Our client is a long established business that specialises in all aspects of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services. Due to the continued success of their business, they are now looking to appoint a full time Mechanical Estimator. Their Estimating Department have a wealth of experience, drive, resilience and passion and are looking forward to welcoming a Mechanical Estimator to their team. Full training and ongoing support is provided to the right applicant. The role will involve a full range of duties and responsibilities, which will be but not limited to: Assessing tender documentation requirements and prepare a tender proposal Identifying potential risks and opportunities Regular liaison with clients, sub contractors, suppliers, and engineers Obtain and review offers and quotes from sub contractors Daily administration duties to support the daily requirements of the department The successful applicant will have worked in the Building Services sector, have a good understanding of Mechanical Building Services and be looking to build a career within the mechanical building services industry. Other attributes that we are looking for, will include: Knowledge of mechanical building services and HVAC systems Excellent IT Skills to include Word/Excel Excellent communication and organisation skills A professional, positive and enthusiastic approach A good team player Self-motivated with a ‘can do attitude'
