Distributed Full-time Experience Level: A Snapshot of Your Day: As the Operational Procurement Team Lead - Core Commodities, you'll lead a dynamic team responsible for managing all operational aspects of the supply chain within the Core commodity. Your day will involve leading operational procurement activities to optimise deliveries, supply costs, meet supplier reliability targets, and maintain/develop a robust supply base to minimise production downtime and product risks. You'll collaborate with stakeholders, negotiate agreements, ensure data integrity, and drive cost reduction initiatives. How You'll Make an Impact: Lead the Operational Purchasing team in material planning, supplier escalations, costing opportunities, and short/long term strategies. Ensure adherence to Global Procurement policies and procedures. Participate in sourcing team decisions/activities for location-specific parts. Support the development and implementation of local/global procurement strategies. What You Bring: Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing, Business Administration, Supply Chain or equivalent. At least 8 years of experience in Supplier Management, preferably in the engineering/production environment. Demonstrated skills in Supplier Management, Contract Management, Supply Chain Processes & ERP systems, Sourcing, Product Lifecycle Management.
