A unique opportunity has arisen within Hope Learning Community as Market Field School and College are currently seeking a hard-working and efficient HR Assistant to join their well-established and supportive administration team. The ideal candidate will have some experience within a school setting, and a keen interest in developing HR skills and knowledge. Under the guidance of the HR Officer and with the wider support of the Trust, this is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is looking to expand their skills or take on a new career path within the intriguing and ever-changing HR sector. The varied role includes duties to ensure the efficient and effective running of HR operations across the school and college. The role involves the organisation and processing of staff personnel and day-to-day HR queries, assisting in processing monthly payroll, aiding with safer recruitment practices, ensuring compliance and confidentiality, and other general HR duties. Please see the full job description for further details. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisation and time-management skills with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines. They will have a flexible approach to their role, a key attention to detail, and a positive, solution-focused attitude, with a keen desire to expand their knowledge and experience. The successful candidate will work to support the current HR Officer for the School and College and will be the first point of contact for all HR queries. Working hours/days can be negotiated for the right candidate. Initially, the position is offered as a 6-month fixed-term contract; however, there may be opportunities to extend after this period.
