Salary: £80 - £100 per day

Hours: Full Time, 8:30 - 3:30
Monarch Education is currently working with a Special Educational Needs (SEND) school in Shirley that is seeking an Inclusive Learning Support professional with SEND experience.
The School:
This all-age special school caters to students who have a statement of Special Educational Needs (SEN), primarily focusing on moderate learning difficulties, with the primary need being Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). You will be working in a small class of children with mixed abilities and may also mentor children with SEND on a one-to-one basis to ensure every child has a fair chance at learning.
Requirements to apply:
The ability to provide references covering the past 2 years
An enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to apply for one
Experience with children
Experience with SEND
The Ideal Candidate:
Proactive and keen to work with SEND pupils
Knowledge of Makaton, Phonics, PECS communication, team teach, or Autism Awareness would be a HUGE advantage
Empathetic to the struggles faced by pupils with special educational needs
Able to communicate clearly with pupils, teachers, and support networks
Able to adapt the curriculum as necessary using toys, sensory play, and music
Fun and bubbly personality while maintaining a professional demeanor
