Are you looking to work in Health and Safety? Do you have experience working in a chemical or manufacturing environment? The company is a chemical manufacturing site, with products that span across various sectors. Having been established for over 150 years, they are now looking for a HSE Officer to join their team due to internal promotion. Responsibilities: Assisting various teams across Production and Engineering to develop risk assessments and safe systems of work. Carry out ongoing upkeep of the site's environmental management systems. Ensuring all auditing programmes are established, up to date, and implemented. Maintain and improve HSE procedures. Investigate accidents and/or near misses and issue relevant reports, whilst ensuring the incident log is up to date. Support delivery of any relevant training. Ensure compliance with SDS and COMAH. Who they are looking for: Experience working in a COMAH environment. Knowledge of current HSE legislation and regulations. NEBOSH certificate.
