Senior Bid Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Bid Manager to join a leading property and construction firm in Manchester. The role will involve managing the bid process, ensuring that all proposals are high quality, timely, and competitive. This role will be minimum 3 days in office based in Warrington. Description The responsibilities for the Senior Bid Manager will include: Manage the bid process from start to finish, coordinating with various departments to ensure consistency and quality. Develop winning strategies for proposals, taking into account competitors and market trends. Lead and motivate a team of bid writers, providing guidance and feedback. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align bid proposals with company branding and messaging. Create and maintain a library of bid resources, including templates, case studies, and FAQs. Monitor and report on bid performance, identifying areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with all company and industry regulations throughout the bid process. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external, to facilitate smooth bid operations. Profile A successful Senior Bid Manager should have: A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 4+ years experience in Bid Management. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Direct line management experience is essential - this role will be responsible for 5 people. Experience within the property industry is highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Knowledge of bid best practices and industry regulations. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
