TBC Main Teacher Scale / Teaching Staff Scale - including unqualified, ECT or NQT - 2 year fixed term contract to start Salary dependant on experience and qualifications *Payment of £500 after a successful 6 month probationary period and a further payment of £500 after a successful 12 month appraisal. Due to the expansion of our provision across two sites including a post 16 provision, the Southend YMCA community school is seeking to add capacity and appoint an English teacher from February 2025. We welcome applicants from instructors, unqualified teachers, future or current trainee teachers or experienced teachers to join our ever growing team. An ideal candidate will have a commitment to Trauma informed practice and understand the power of learning and education for our students. Experience in teaching subjects at GCSE level are an advantage but are not essential.
