About the role Reporting to the Regional Manager, the role of the HSEQ Advisor will provide high-level HSEQ support and guidance to our operations teams ensuring sites are operating and adhering to the national and local HSEQ system. The position will also provide performance KPI information at monthly management review meetings and work with the division to achieve HSEQ excellence. Here at WM New Zealand, we undertake a variety of activities ranging from kerbside collections, recycling centres, refuse transfer stations, landfills (energy parks), commercial collections, organic waste collections, construction & demolition, and hazardous waste collections. No two days are the same, and that’s what makes this industry exciting and interesting. About you To be successful in this role you will need to have: A Tertiary Qualification (Degree or above) in H&S or Environmental 5 years experience in an HSE advisory position 5 years working in the waste industry Excellent knowledge of relevant HSE, ACC, and HSNO legislation and standards Integrated Management System experience - ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 Experience in managing change procedures Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills Effective conceptual, analytical, and research skills Excellent time management and self-management skills How to Apply To be a part of this exciting and growing business, please click 'apply now'.
