Job Description Summary An opportunity is available for a new Training Leader. As part of the wider technical community, the role will report to the Engineering Leader. The successful candidate will manage the training team and be responsible for establishing and maintaining individuals' competency in relation to Part 145 requirements as well as all other key training deliverables. Job Description Essential Functions Design, produce and deliver training content for all aspects of the business, ensuring Managers, Planners, Supervisors, Mechanics, Specialised Service Staff, Support Staff and Certifying Staff understand their responsibilities and can demonstrate competency in accordance with Part 145. Manage a team of technical trainers who deliver all required content, including hands-on and classroom training. Deliver against the KPI's assigned to the Training Team and support wider business goals. Complete training documentation and record keeping in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. Conduct analysis of course feedback and develop course improvement plans. Complete all people leader duties, including coaching and mentoring of individuals/teams, administrative duties, and daily communication across the department. Maintain a culture of continuous improvement, problem solving and adoption of Lean principles. Support Quality team during root cause investigation of issues or incidents. Provide leadership throughout the site's general activities and issues including existing FLIGHT DECK structure. Qualifications / Requirements The Training Leader must promote a positive culture around Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost whilst demonstrating GE's Leadership Behaviours of Humility, Transparency, Focus and unyielding Integrity. Candidates should possess an Engineering qualification or be able to demonstrate appropriate technical experience. Effective communication skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the workforce. Proven ability to motivate, mentor and coach employees.
