As an Associate Specialist Palliative Care Nurse, you will provide evidence-based specialist palliative care and advice to patients, families, and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered palliative care over 7 days. The team links closely with other teams and departments across the trust and more widely across organisational boundaries. You will also support the delivery of palliative and end-of-life care education. In return, you will join a supportive team and be supported to develop within the role. Main duties of the job

Manage a caseload of patients with specialist palliative care needs. Use specialist knowledge to provide advice and support around complex palliative care including symptom management and psycho-social support. Establish and maintain highly effective communication with patients, families, and professionals including dealing with sensitive and complex issues. Support the provision of education delivery across professional disciplines. Participate in relevant audit and research. About us
