The purpose of this role is to account manage small to mid-market dental clients by effectively developing relationships with client contacts at middle to senior management level. Be focused on the generation of new business opportunities via mid Corporate (direct and brokered) and focused on cross selling PMI and the entire product range. Be required to be pro-active in maximum retention of business.
How you’ll help us make health happen:
Pro-actively manage, develop and renew portfolio of corporate clients through developing and maintaining relationships
Agree 12 month account management plans to include presentation of Bupa’s range of products and services
Achieve business levels in line with agreed targets, objectives and client service levels
Ensure clients are aware of Bupa’s range of products and services
Identify new business opportunities with new and existing clients
Retain accounts profitability by managing issues and delivering against agreed service levels
Understand the needs and opportunities of each client
Retain profitable dental and non-dental business
Develop and maintain effective relationships with client contacts at middle to senior manager level
Able to influence sales decisions with appropriate client contacts
Fully understand the client’s needs, aims and future plans using this information in the interest of Bupa and the customer
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
Up to date knowledge of the healthcare market within which operates along with an understanding of the business dynamics of the Bupa business, its products and services
Good business awareness and sound commercial judgement
Excellent sales, presentation and negotiation skills
Experience of succeeding in negotiations with client contacts at middle to senior management level
Strong verbal, written and communication skills
Understanding of customer service principles and a commitment to service excellence
Understanding of relationship management skills and the ability to develop effective internal and external relationships and networks
Well organised with effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
