Audit partner to the technology function and 2 nd Line assurance teams for the relevant technology risk. Advising and influencing change at a senior level to improve Marex corporate governance, risk management practice and internal control environment for technology. Through the Group Head of Internal Audit provide assurance to the various Board/s, on the adequacy, effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability of the Marex Technology control environment. Manage our co source partner for technology specific audits and ensure the scope is focussed and risks reviewed are appropriate and relevant for the scope agreed Carry out/Lead where relevant IT testing on integrated business audits where applicable. Support the delivery of the corporate priorities of Marex Group, as set out in the business plan. Increase internal and external confidence in the Marex business and brand Transfer knowledge to the team on technology related matters and insights Responsibilities Contribute to the strategic development of the internal audit function of Marex business in general and particularly across the technology areas Regular engagement with key technology Senior Management, advising on key risks and controls Play a key support in manging technology audit work With the Group Head of Internal Audit and the Audit leadership team conduct an annual audit risk assessment to determine audit needs and prioritise those key risks for review across technology Develop and deliver the annual technology plan Manage the development of staff as appropriate and ensure professional standards and key performance targets are met Contribute to the development of Marex Group standards and procedures, reviewing the effectiveness of any internal assurance functions within Marex Maintain contact and interaction with external parties and organisations who may contribute to the mission of Marex and the internal audit function Promote, implement, and contribute to electronic work paper and risk assessment tool for theMarex internal audit function Skills and Experience Skills Strong analytical skills Data analysis skills Familiar with AI models and platforms Educated to a degree or master’s level, preferably (i.e. CISA, ITIL and NIST or equivalent) Stakeholder management: ability to work closely with multiple internal stakeholders, build strong cooperative relationships at all levels particularly across areas of Technology A sound knowledge of the regulatory frameworks. Initiate and commitment to excellence – actively and enthusiastically attempt to influence, seek opportunities to originate action, encourage and develop new ideas Excellent written and communication skills Enthusiastic and keen to learn and a team player Ability to think outside the box and provide creative solutions. Be able to multi-task, prioritize and work to deadlines in a pressurised environment.
