Investment Associate - Special Situations Fund
My client is a market-leading special situations investor, looking for an Investment Associate to be based in their London office. With approximately $5 billion of discretionary capital under management, this client focuses on providing asset-backed capital solutions to small/mid-cap businesses, as well as institutional investors. Investments are across the full capital structure, with a focus on non-core/out-of-favour asset classes. Within this position, you will focus on investments in the UK and Northern Ireland. Ideally, we are hoping for 2-4 years of investment banking experience, preferably from Leveraged Finance, FIG, or Real Estate teams, but would also consider candidates from Real Estate investment firms. Responsibilities: Due diligence and wider analysis on potential investments Sourcing and identifying investment opportunities and relationships Market research and analysis to support investment thesis Collaborating with the wider investment team Monitoring the investment portfolio, producing analysis and supporting other parties in delivering returns
