Aligned with Fastmarkets' vision of being a customer-centric organization, the Commercial Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Commercial Operations in translating Fastmarkets' strategy into actionable initiatives, supporting the broader commercial function, and driving the Fastmarkets 2030 program. This role requires a strategic thinker with an exceptional eye for detail and a commitment to operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in understanding how Fastmarkets’ offerings add value to clients’ decision-making and operations, leveraging our extensive team of market analysts and price reporters. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Commercial Reporting and Planning

Support the Commercial Operations Director in reporting on strategic commercial initiatives and the transformation program for Commercial leadership and monthly Board updates. Manage the creation and ongoing development of forward-looking reporting packs, providing strategic recommendations to ensure Sales performance aligns with expectations. Proactively monitor forward-looking metrics and propose strategic activities to drive additional growth. Contribute to the development and enhancement of Fastmarkets’ Commercial KPI dashboards and reporting suite. Conduct periodic reviews of Fastmarkets' three-year plan to identify opportunities to improve Sales outcomes. Assist with quarterly and annual sales and financial planning cycles to support commercial growth strategies.

Sales Technology Stack

Evaluate and recommend new Sales technologies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve EBITDA margins. Gather input from Sales Directors and teams to investigate comprehensive and mutually exclusive solutions. Develop business cases for new Sales technology opportunities. Oversee pilot programs for new Sales technologies, working closely with RevOps and CRM teams to ensure effective implementation and broader rollout. Monitor and evaluate the impact of implemented Sales technologies, ensuring expected value and commercial outcomes are achieved.

Investment Tracking (Organic and M&A)

Support M&A integrations and decision-making processes to ensure alignment with project timelines. Track and report on investments, ensuring they are effectively managed for success or shut down if unsuccessful. Prepare and present commercial business cases to the C-Suite and Board for additional investment opportunities.

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, driven, and has a passion to be part of a fast-paced, successful team. Being a strong team player is also important as well as someone who is happy to work flexibly. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success, preferably in a B2B data business or private equity portfolio company. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent communication skills, with a history of success in both one-on-one and group presentations. Strong collaboration and influencing skills; a true team player with the ability to work effectively across departments. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects. Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and familiarity with relevant sales technologies is highly desirable. Additional Information
