Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Project Manager

to join our delivery team, focusing on projects within the Thames Water and Southern Water frameworks.

Up to £60k, plus a car allowance / company car

We are a direct delivery specialist contractor to both the water industry and wider water environment. We currently hold 29 frameworks, and we work with most of the UK's water companies and the Environment Agency.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and delivering projects in a highly collaborative and proactive manner, ensuring that work is completed within clearly defined budgets and timescales.

Responsibilities:

Plan effectively from pre-construction to post-construction in line with all relevant policies, procedures, and best working practices.

Oversee Project and Site Coordinators, providing guidance where required.

Produce site files, including but not limited to the project programme, RAMS, CPPs, and quality documentation.

Liaise effectively with the Commercial and support teams to control the finances on each job.

Liaise with Coordinators and Supervisors to take accountability for accurate and timely submission of completed works and time sheets for the team.

Ensure an understanding of the Company's Health and Safety Policy and the allocated responsibilities under the Health and Safety At Work Act including those under the CDM Regulations 2015.

Take the lead on larger projects with increased complexity, risk, and value.

Who we're looking for

Previous experience managing Project Managers and Site teams

Extensive experience in the delivery of small to medium sized civil engineering projects in the waste and/or clean water treatment sector

Able to develop lasting relationships with client project managers / site owners

Able to work alone and using own initiative to solve problems and complete daily tasks

Full clean UK driving licence

A good communicator, able to liaise confidently and deal with a variety of people including the client, suppliers and wider team members face-to-face, in writing and on the telephone

Possess a positive attitude and be committed to high levels of care for staff and the client

Good IT skills, in particular MS Office
