About the Role We have ambitious growth plans across the UK & Ireland over the next five years, and the HR team is crucial to achieving this. We are looking for an HR Advisor to support our Midlands manufacturing sites. As we grow, the HR team will evolve, offering opportunities to develop into an HR Business Partner or a specialist role like ER. Starting as an HR Advisor, you’ll work with a supportive team and receive guidance from our Head of HR. Your responsibilities will include: Building and maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders. Providing advice on ER matters and legislation. Identifying and addressing root causes of issues. Using data to highlight areas for improvement. Coaching stakeholders to develop leadership capabilities. Developing good relationships with trade union representatives. Advising the business on various issues. Collaborating with the Recruitment team on hiring and onboarding. Identifying skill gaps and recommending improvements. Supporting colleague engagement plans. Preparing and delivering new starter inductions. Supporting managers during probation reviews. The role involves regular travel across the region, with a company car/allowance provided. About You You are an experienced HR generalist who enjoys working with multiple stakeholders across various sites. You champion diversity, inclusion, continuous improvement, and health and safety. You will also have: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Full UK Driving License Willingness to travel regularly Experience resolving complex casework problems Practical knowledge of UK employment law Ability to build productive relationships and adapt to stakeholders at all levels A growth mindset and initiative for creative solutions Confidence to make the right decisions, balancing business interests with employee wellbeing Exposure to talent management and training programs HR qualification (desirable but not essential) About our Benefits Salary up to £39,000 (depending on experience) Annual bonus up to 6% Company car/ allowance Professional growth, training, and opportunities to hone your skills and knowledge Ability to purchase additional holidays Company Pension SIP – ability to become a shareholder via our Share Scheme Life Assurance Flexible benefits offering (including health, wellbeing and money saving opportunities) About us Wienerberger is a leading international provider of building materials and infrastructure solutions.We improve the quality of life and shape the future of construction.
