Description

Are you an experienced Insurance Compliance professional looking for an exciting new challenge, where you can have your ideas heard and ultimately influence shaping the compliance framework of our incredible business? CFC is a specialist insurance provider and a pioneer in emerging risk. We have a track record of disrupting inefficient insurance markets, and we use proprietary technology to deliver high-quality products to market faster than the competition while making it easier for brokers to do business. What does that mean for a Compliance function? Our UK business has grown massively and the Compliance team is no exception. You’ll be busy working on interesting, complex projects. The sort of business we are, and our strategic priorities make this an interesting role for Compliance professionals - at CFC anyone can forge their own path, and as a key area of growth, this opportunity is as exciting as it gets!

About the role

As a Compliance Analyst, you will play an important role in supporting the UK compliance function in delivering the CFC compliance plan, including the operation of an effective compliance programme and all of the compliance systems and controls applicable to CFC Underwriting. Your role will involve interaction with stakeholders across our entire business and is generalist in nature, so there will be plenty of opportunity to get involved in a broad range of compliance projects and emerging regulation.

About you

So what are we looking for? Well, this is an experienced role so we are looking for a proactive Compliance specialist with experience working within specialty Insurance. Other elements of expected knowledge and/or experience are: Good knowledge of Lloyd’s and UK regulatory requirements; Good knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks, with an ability to swiftly understand new requirements and changes to the regulatory landscape. London market insurance experience essential; experience with a Lloyd’s managing agent would be super interesting to hear about too; Experience working with delegated authorities, including a knowledge of how binding authority agreements work, would be highly regarded. Given this is a busy, business facing function, the type of professional we believe will excel in the role is likely to be an effective communicator with incredible attention to detail and an ability to work autonomously in ambiguous situations.

Core Values

Love what you do: We show up each day ready to take on the world. Our passion and intensity set us apart and makes the difference to our colleagues, customers, brokers and carriers. Challenge everything: We’re never afraid to question the way that things are done and we constantly challenge ourselves and others to make things better. Have fun, be good: Insurance is a serious business, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We make it fun to work at CFC, we welcome all viewpoints, and we treat everyone how we would expect to be treated.
