We are looking for a passionate and experienced Year 2 Teacher to join our dedicated team from March 2025 to cover a 12-month maternity post. Role Overview: As a Year 2 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of our youngest primary students. Your role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and supporting individual learning needs to ensure every child flourishes academically and socially. You will be joining a supportive and friendly staff team who work collaboratively to create an exciting learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum. Monitor and support the social and academic development of Year 2 students. Provide a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment. Assess, record, and report on student progress and achievements. Work closely with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and involvement in their child's learning. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and share good practice. Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as appropriate. About You: We are looking for a teacher who: Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and has experience teaching Year 2 or within Key Stage 1. Is passionate about fostering a love for learning in young children. Has excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Demonstrates strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire children. Is committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child can thrive. Why Join Us?
