We have a vacancy to join our small friendly onsite Medical Centre team at Christ’s Hospital. The work includes caring for pupils in our in-patient unit, taking daily surgeries, and being available to give health advice to the pupils. Our school Medical Centre is operational 24 hours per day, 7 days a week during term time and generally staff work a mixture of day and night shifts on a rota basis. The successful candidate will work a shift pattern of up to 27 hours per week term time (33 weeks per year plus 2 weeks CPD). There is some flexibility with the hours; however, candidates would need to be able to work at weekends. Being able to work a night shift would be an advantage but is not essential for this position. Please state your availability on your application form. Flexibility, good communication skills, and the confidence to work unsupervised are essential. Applicants will ideally need to be a registered nurse (Adult or Child) with evidence of NMC Registration. However, we will also consider paramedics who can evidence suitable experience.
