27-30 January 2025 Are you a Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioner looking for a challenge? Bright Beginnings Pre-school is looking for an enthusiastic individual who shares our passion for helping young children to develop and grow. We have a vacancy for a Practitioner who holds a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare and has a sound knowledge of child development. The post offers an opportunity to work within a team, as an individual, and to use your skills and knowledge to help your own Keygroup of children to thrive. We offer an exciting opportunity to be part of our friendly team. Bright Beginnings Pre-school is a diverse and challenging provider, and the applicant will be supported by three Managers and provided with opportunities to further develop their knowledge through working with a broad spectrum of children and families and continuous professional development training. Our usual working hours are school term-time: 08:15-15:45 Mon-Fri. We offer the applicant: 28hrs per week (with the possibility of some overtime hours) A supported working environment where staff wellbeing is important A welcome into a well-established and friendly team of practitioners who are passionate about what they do. As well as a Level 2 or 3 qualification and sound knowledge of child development, the applicant should have: A willingness to adapt to new practices and procedures; Knowledge of children's behaviours and the impact this can have on their development; Some knowledge of First Aid appropriate for Early Years (training can be offered). The applicant should also be confident and enthusiastic about providing a warm and friendly environment for our young children that addresses: The intention of the learning; The implementation of the learning; The impact of the learning. As well as having good communication skills: a good standard of both written and spoken English, the applicant should have a positive and proactive attitude to the role and be ready to join our 'family' and take up a challenge! We are a welcoming and well-established Early Years provider. We are located in an area where there is good public transport, as well as free parking for cars. Our team consists of three managers who support our team of Keypersons and Bank staff to deliver the best possible service to our children and their families. All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
