Pension Life Assurance Use of company vehicle for personal use Employee Share Schemes Reward Programme & Employee Assistance Programme Employee Discounts & more Job Purpose: We are looking for an experienced Mobile Gas Engineer to join our team, working across a variety of high-profile retail and banking outlets. This role involves providing maintenance, repairs, and ensuring statutory compliance across commercial gas systems, as well as fabric and basic electrical tasks. You will be responsible for both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance, using handheld technology to manage work orders and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance on commercial gas systems and related equipment. Complete all required certification and ensure statutory and mandatory tasks are done within specified timescales. Carry out emergency repairs and reactive tasks as needed. Use handheld technology to complete work orders, report progress, and document issues. Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota for full client coverage. Source additional work opportunities on site and provide information for quotes. Supervise subcontractors, ensuring quality of work and adherence to Health & Safety standards. Issue permits, control small works, and perform escort duties when required. What We Are Looking For:

City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in Gas Engineering or a related field. Extensive experience in commercial (not domestic) gas maintenance, testing, and fault-finding, including boilers, ventilation, pumps, generators, and related systems. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Experience in basic electrical tasks (e.g., small power, lighting, switchgear). Ability to manage work orders and tasks efficiently using handheld devices. Full UK driving licence. Why Join Us?
