About the role

Here at Pelion, the SRE team is responsible for managing a resilient connectivity network distributed over multiple geographic regions. As part of the SRE team, you'll help build and maintain the solutions that service our customers with connectivity. This might include working with other teams in the business to deliver on common objectives, deploying new software solutions to enable our customers, or visiting datacentres to deploy new hardware at the edge.

What you will be doing

Maintain and improve monitoring solutions across our production environments. Utilize automation to build/manage both virtual and physical server deployments. Support our engineering/QA by maintaining their CI pipelines/testing infrastructure. Diagnose complex customer issues involving our infrastructure. Expand/improve capacity of our network and systems to handle growth. What we're looking for

Go/Python experience. Good understanding of TCP/IP networking and IPsec technologies. Knowledge of Linux/BSD OS variants. Experience with Automation (Gitlab CI/Chef/Puppet/Ansible/Terraform). Knowledge of Prometheus/Grafana and how they're utilized. Virtualisation experience (Nutanix/VMware). Knowledge of container orchestration (K8S/Docker Swarm). Understanding of databases and MySQL. Experience with Cloud technologies (Azure/AWS). Why Pelion?
