Key Requirements: Minimum of 2 years experience in managing a Looked After Children's team. At least 2+ years of overall management experience within social work. SWE (Social Work England) registration is essential. Must currently be working in the UK. Role Responsibilities: Lead and manage a dedicated team of social workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to Looked After Children. Monitor and oversee the performance of the team to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practice. Develop and implement strategies to improve outcomes for children in care, promoting stability and permanency. Provide professional supervision, support, and development opportunities for team members. Ensure effective care planning and decision-making processes for all cases within the team. Collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure comprehensive support for children and young people. Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the efficient use of funds to support service delivery. Address complex cases and escalate issues as necessary to ensure appropriate interventions and safeguarding measures. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice within the team. Contribute to service reviews, inspections, and the development of policies and procedures.
