Based from home with travel to client sites within your region. Responsibilities

Carrying out site visits for conducting Fire Risk Assessments. Development of Fire Risk Assessment reports and hazard identification. Risk-based interpretation and application of fire safety documents. Assessment and understanding of the main British fire safety legislation and standards applied to buildings, such as Approved Document B (AD B), BS9999, BS9991, and BS7974. Evaluate passive fire protection arrangements in a wide range of buildings, identifying and confirming appropriate methods for applying fire stopping to service penetrations through compartment walls and ceilings. Conducting fire safety management audits. Presenting findings from fire risk assessments and/or fire safety management audits to clients. Experience

Experienced in conducting fire risk assessments, fire safety audits, and writing fire risk assessment reports. Recognizable and professional qualifications in fire safety management and fire safety surveying and risk assessing. A good understanding of the relevant fire safety legislation, fire behavior, the behavior of people in fire, and the practical application of the principles of fire safety. Qualifications

Fire Risk Assessors and/or Auditors qualifications by a professional institution, such as FPA, IFE, etc. Recognized 3rd Party Accreditation with the Institute of Fire Engineers Register of Fire Risk Assessors is desirable. NEBOSH NGC3 Fire Risk Assessment qualifications (or equivalent).
