Applications are invited for the post of Trust Doctor (ST3 +) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro for a 1-year fixed term.

The successful applicant will undertake clinical work to improve their knowledge and skills in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Currently, there are 20 Consultants in O&G covering all the subspecialties. The trust has had and is having ongoing investment into the Obstetric services allowing an enhanced provision of care to patients requiring Obstetric and Gynaecological needs.

The post holder will join the middle-grade rota working a 1 in 8 on call for O&G.

Responsibilities:

Clinical and non-clinical work in the middle grade in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of Obstetrics and Gynaecology patients. Active participation in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Audit. Attend meetings as appropriate. Fulfil duties of weekly timetable including any out-of-hours responsibilities (where applicable).
