Practice Nurse
to support one of our GP surgery that we work with. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong experience in delivering high-quality patient care and a desire to make a real impact in the community. What We're Looking For: Proficiency in all core Practice Nurse services, including health checks, cervical screening (smears), dressings, wound management, immunisations, and travel vaccinations. Expertise in managing Long-Term Conditions such as Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, and Hypertension. A strong track record in achieving high QOF standards, with familiarity using the Ardens Template preferred. Independent prescriber status is highly desirable. Role Details: Flexible schedule: Ideally,
two 4-hour shifts
on weekdays and a
3-hour Saturday remote clinic (9:00 am - 12:00 pm) . (Saturday shift is mandatory) At least
two sessions must be face-to-face
each week. The role is
3 - 5 sessions per week
(4 hours per session). Start date:
March/April 2025
(earlier start may be possible). Open due to the retirement of the current nurse. This is an
ongoing role
with options for a
permanent
or
long-term locum
