About us At St. George’s Nursery, we take pride in the fact that we have such dedicated long-term staff who are passionate about both childcare as well as St. George’s. 39 members of the St. George’s family have been with us for 5+ years, and 21 members of our team have been with us for 10+ years. Requirements of Deputy Manager: The Deputy Manager should assist the Nursery Manager in delivering management of the nursery, maintain the highest standards of childcare in the setting, and provide leadership, training, mentorship and development to the nursery staff team.

Nursery management experience/childcare leadership experience Minimum full and relevant LEVEL 3 in Early Years and Education Paediatric First Aid is preferred but not essential as appropriate training will be given DSL (preferred) A customer service approach, willing to go above and beyond for families A strong record of ongoing training and/or professional qualifications Able to lead by example, providing the highest quality childcare whilst providing support and leadership to the staff team
