Job requirements Role Summary: The Pension Implementation Project Analyst is one of a group of experienced analysts responsible for the implementation of multiple bulk annuity schemes within a wider insured portfolio. You will be responsible for working day to day with the Project Manager, fellow analysts and external stakeholders to ensure operational readiness for handover to the Administration team for ongoing administration and ongoing reporting to the insurer. This is a hybrid position where you will work from any Aptia office, as well as from your home address. Here's what you’ll be doing: Understand, analyse and document business requirements. Building processes for key business requirements in line with both existing and potential new systems. Assessing changes to confirm technical and commercial impact. Identification of areas where improvements to existing systems, processes and procedures can be achieved. Maintaining a good understanding of changes to pension legislation that could not only impact the functionality of our products and systems but directly on your schemes and members. Taking your experience as a Senior Pension Administrator to the next level, working with the whole population of a Pension Scheme rather than on a one-by-one basis. Taking ownership of all transactions for the scheme while it transitions to buy out and becoming a subject matter expert from movements, scheme events to payrolls. Managing your own workload while a Project Manager tracks & directs the timescales and key events. Being the key contact for your schemes, and ensuring that if you can’t manage your objectives alone you take responsibility for allocating work to your supporting colleagues and keep your Project Manager informed. Here’s what we’re looking for: Proven experience in or associated with DB Pensions Administration and preferably Bulk Purchase Annuities Extensive prior experience in analysis on large data sets Experience in preparing test packs for new scheme implementations and performing manual DB calculations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Previous experience that illustrates ability to prioritise work on multiple projects simultaneously with limited supervision.
