The post of
School Business Manager
is crucial to the ongoing success of the school and will lead on the non-teaching side of the school. The role is assisted by a strong support staff team, sits on the senior leadership team and will work very closely with the Headteacher.
The main areas of the role focus on: Management of the school's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Overseeing the school's human resources, including recruitment, training, and performance management. Working closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to support the school's strategic objectives. Line management of the school office and other non-academic support staff. Organisational tasks, and support to the Headteacher and Governing Body, on all areas of school management. Overseeing Health and Safety throughout the school. Line management of Premises staff. Candidates with previous school business manager experience are sought, with a particular strength required in budgeting and day-to-day financial management. Any formal qualifications relating to the job would enhance your application, but are not essential. Excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and a good sense of humour would go a long way!
The role is offered as a 52 week, full-time position.
