English Teacher , you'll be instrumental in enhancing students' literacy skills and boosting their confidence in self-expression. Your passion for the subject will be key in making English lessons both engaging and educational. About the Role: As an

English Teacher , your responsibilities will include: Designing and delivering engaging and comprehensive English lessons that accommodate various learning styles and abilities. Motivating students to enhance their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and growth. Evaluating and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid their development. Collaborating with colleagues to refine and improve the English curriculum. Engaging in school activities and events to enrich students' educational experiences. Qualifications and Experience: The ideal candidate for the

English Teacher

position will possess: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

or an equivalent certification. Experience teaching English in schools or similar settings. A strong grasp of English literature and language. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to ongoing professional development and teamwork with colleagues. Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one). Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS on the update service or completing an application for a new check.
