Embarking on work experience at Electric Square, students will receive a taste of our award-winning vibrant culture and get to enjoy a varied journey through all the disciplines. From designing and coding gameplay to delivering artwork, students will receive a flavour of what it is like to be working in the dynamic world of game development. Working with Artists, Engineers, Designers, Quality Assurance, and Producers, your week in the studio will provide you with first-hand insights into the creative process, learning heaps and fuelling a love for making awesome games, which is what we do best! This listing is for students who are in school year 10-11 only and are seeking work experience for 1 week in July 2025. Requirements Confirmation from your school, college, or university stating agreement of your work experience. Consent from a parent or guardian if you are under the age of 18. A compelling cover letter or portfolio showcasing your passion for the games industry. You will be required to complete a brief work experience application form. If your application is shortlisted, we will schedule a 10-minute Microsoft Teams call to learn more about your interests and to provide further details about what Electric Square can offer you during the work experience placement.
