Group Stock Accountant, Shrewsbury
Your new company Hays are working with a very successful business in Shrewsbury who are recruiting for a new role of Group Stock Accountant in Shropshire.
Your new role In this newly created role, you will be the main contact between Sales, Operations, and the finance function. Your duties will include: Stock checks at Group and various Depots Create and maintain a system for demo/hire machinery Assist and take responsibility for Stocking audits Reporting on stock levels; KPI's Statutory Audit - ownership of the stock control process Stocking/HP Funding Assisting with month end/year end tasks Misc tasks as required What you'll need to succeed You should come from a finance background, ideally be AAT 2 or above, and be someone who can solve problems and manage workloads. You must have excellent accuracy and attention to detail, as well as being self-motivated and able to work independently. Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive are essential.
