We are seeking an experienced

Mechanical Contracts Manager

to join our clients team and manage a range of commercial projects in Marlow. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and skilled individual to take ownership of multiple contracts while working on exciting commercial developments. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the mechanical contracts for commercial projects, ensuring compliance with all specifications, budgets, and deadlines. Coordinate mechanical engineering works including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems from design through to installation. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources for mechanical works. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, industry standards, and client requirements. Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring cost-effective solutions and timely project delivery. Lead and support the mechanical site teams, providing guidance and direction throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project progress and costs, proactively identifying and resolving issues or delays. Prepare and submit progress reports, forecasts, and financial updates to senior management and clients. Ensure all necessary materials and resources are procured and delivered on time. Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with contract specifications. Requirements: Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager, with a strong background in commercial projects. In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. Experience in managing multiple mechanical contracts simultaneously. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively. Familiarity with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and quality control processes. Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering, project management, or construction (e.g., HNC, HND, or equivalent). Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
