The role is offering an exciting mixture between financial reporting and driving commercial performance. Reporting directly into the Head of FP & A, the role will drive the Management Accounts Team in providing high quality analysis and business requirements and helping to drive the business’s overall management and strategy. You will be responsible for: Sales & Margin analysis and reporting. Preparation and balance sheet reconciliation post month end. Assist with the month end postings and ensure that financial statements are accurate. Process Vendor rebates, including monthly accruals, reconciliations and address business queries. Process and manage Sales incentives including maintaining commission plans, processing quarterly calculations, addressing business queries, working on process improvements and implementation of scheme changes. Month end FX analysis and management of FX spot rates issued to the business. Revenue recognition guidance. Support the Assistant Accountant with their transactional processing. Respond to requests from external auditors. Work closely with other areas of finance and the wider business to provide information as required. Build relationships with key finance stakeholders. Always be looking for ways to improve processes, enabling the team to work more efficiently. Ad-hoc projects as requested by line managers.
