Triage and Musculoskeletal Assessment, employing shared decision making and high-level clinical reasoning to formulate care plans, provide treatment, appropriately refer onward, and signpost patients to appropriate resources. Working as part of a large Integrated Musculoskeletal Service Team, alongside teams such as Orthopedic, Rheumatology, Outpatient Physiotherapy, Surgical Services, First Contact Practitioners, and Community Pain Management to provide safe, efficient, and effective patient care while continuously striving to promote Service Improvement. To be part of a highly motivated team, providing a high standard of clinical care within the iMSK team specializing in foot and ankle pathology management. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the iMSK service via audit and research. Continued practice of leadership skills in line with organizational values, with direct line of sight to the iMSK Vision. To identify, develop, and adhere to policies, strategies, and objectives of the iMSK team and employing NHS Trust. Undertake the advanced assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal patients (including some rheumatological and persistent pain conditions) and patients presenting with low back pain and radicular pain (sciatica) in primary and secondary care as part of the iMSK service within the ESP or First Contact Practitioner role. To work in an extended role in the management of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical, medical, and psychological conditions. To make a clinical diagnosis by using advanced assessments, requesting and interpreting the results of advanced diagnostic tests and investigations, and implementing the correct care pathway.
