Senior Support Worker We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to play a vital role in providing support at our Pathfinder and BeOK Service. Position : Senior Support Worker Location : Burgess Hill/Crawley Salary : £28,136 Hours : 37 hours per week Contract : Permanent Closing Date : Thursday 23rd January 2025 Interview Date : Tuesday 28th January 2025 About: As a Senior Support Worker, you will be working for a people-led organisation whose mission and values is to inspire change across Sussex. Key Responsibilities: To manage and support the wellbeing and work of Pathfinder and BeOK Service staff including supervision and appraisal in agreement with the Pathfinder Service Manager. To facilitate timely and efficient assessment and referral processes for Pathfinder and BeOK Service clients. In agreement with the Community Services Manager, carry a caseload of clients. To work proactively and collaboratively with other Pathfinder organisations, including the Pathfinder Clinical service and partners in the wider health and social care sector. To undertake such other duties appropriate to the grade and character of the work as may reasonably be required. Person Specification: To be successful in the role of Senior Worker you will need to have great communication skills and be committed to the values of BHT Sussex. Some of the key skills and experience you will need to bring with you include: Experience of working in mental health, social care, or community development services. Experience of supporting individuals to complete person-centred mental health recovery plans based on their own goals and aspirations. Experience of supervising members of staff.
