Care Assistant for a Teenage Boy - £11.44/hr in Leeds
We are looking for a Care Assistant to support our lovely 15-year-old son for 10 hours per week (usually on weekends). During school holidays, he will need 14 hours of support per week, and we can be flexible regarding the schedule. Our son lives on a small farm and enjoys outdoor activities. He also likes visiting places like Templenewsam Farm and Lotherton Hall. He enjoys sharing stories about his experiences, friends, and family. As a Personal Assistant (P.A.), you will support him in gaining independence and accessing his interests. He attends a Specialist Free School and has a diagnosis of Autism and a Learning Disability. Responsibilities
Engage in social and leisure activities. Support him in remaining independent. Provide training and guidance as needed. Ensure safeguarding of adults and children. Understand and support his needs related to Autism/Aspergers. Schedule, Pay & Hours
Pay: £11.44/hr Hours: 10-14 hours per week, flexible schedule. Availability: Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday Time slots include: Morning Afternoon Evening ONA (Overnight Awake) ONS (Overnight Sleep)
