Description
Lead and manage the audit team during audits and control consulting engagements.
Oversee the completion of audit assignments ensuring high-quality delivery within budget and timescales.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and ensure their expectations are managed and met.
Contribute to the development and training of audit team members.
Identify and recommend potential business opportunities for new and existing clients.
Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
Act as a point of reference for technical and sector knowledge.
Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the client's environment.
Profile
A successful Audit Manager should have:
A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA).
Proven experience in audit and assurance within a business services environment.
Proven experience in managing a portfolio of SME clients.
Strong technical abilities and experience of UK GAAP, and IFRS.
Excellent team leadership abilities and experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven project management skills.
