We are excited to be recruiting for an Operational Resilience Analyst on a permanent fulltime basis. The role of Operational Resilience Analyst supports the team goals by contributing to TBUK’s Operational Resilience, which is defined as ‘the ability of TBUK to prevent, adapt and respond to, recover and learn from, operational disruptions, including cyber-threats. In this role you will work closely with the Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Manager and support the Risk and Resilience Forum. This opportunity offers hybrid working typically this will require you to work 1-2 days in our Bristol office per week, with a choice of working from home on the other days (following an initial training and induction period). Key Responsibilities:
Understand and monitor IBS resilience levels on an ongoing basis. Provide production of regular MI and reporting to support the Risk and Resilience Forum. Review the Operational Resilience action log and escalate any issues to ORBCM. Facilitate the activities related to: IBS identification. Mapping and Vulnerabilities. Self-assessment. Minute the Risk and Resilience Forum meetings. Ensure TBUK operates within expectations set by the Management Committee/ Board. Support Testing/Simulation Exercises. Business Impact Analysis. Promote awareness and understanding of Operational Resilience across the firm. What We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this role you will have a good working knowledge and relevant experience of business operations, preferably in a financial services / retail banking environment combined with firsthand experience of one or more of the following: Gathering, influencing and documenting business change requirements, preferably using a standard modelling technique such as BPMN. Leading / participating in process improvement initiatives using industry-standard methodologies such as LEAN / Six Sigma. Working with ICT teams using Agile development techniques. Working in project teams within a Prince 2 framework. You will have excellent communication skills at all levels and will have the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including department heads, ICT development teams and subject matter experts and will be naturally adept at motivating, negotiating, and influencing. In return for your hard work and expertise, you will receive a competitive full-time equivalent salary of £38,000 - £43,000 depending on experience, plus access to our extensive benefits package, where most of our benefits are non-contributory.
