Seeking a highly skilled Cost Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the international cost accounting function for our client, a global Manufacturing company based in Herefordshire. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate product costs, inventory valuation, and financial integrity across global operations. This position plays a key role in decision support, process improvements, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and financial reporting controls.
Lead cost accounting and financial reporting, including month-end close, inventory reconciliation, and gross margin analysis
Implement accounting policies, manage excess/obsolete inventory, and track key performance metrics
Support ERP systems, conduct variance analysis, and assist with budgets and forecasts
Collaborate with internal and external auditors, tax planning and ERP migrations
Provide financial insights and analysis to management, including ROI for manufacturing capital investments
