We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our team in Spalding, UK. Our Product Managers are responsible for overseeing and managing the performance of third-party storage and handling facilities, maintaining the highest standards of product quality and customer satisfaction, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize our operations. You will be able to manage stock so that it is correctly stored, ripened and allocated to customer specifications whilst minimising wastage. Responsibilities include: Inspect, control, and report on raw materials. Manage, rotate, and allocate stock effectively. Monitor and report yields and defects by pallet and grower. Maintain accurate daily stock records and allocations. Oversee and manage the ripeners. Update stock information on the Prophet computer system. Supervise external surveyors and maintain relevant records. Prepare customer samples as needed. Conduct visits to outside stores, ports of entry, and producers as required. Adhere to and enforce company Health and Safety policies. Ensure food safety, integrity, and hygiene standards are maintained. Report any food safety or integrity concerns to management immediately. Minimum Requirements: Experience in quality testing fruit. Able to work 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Good Written English. Possess a full UK Drivers Licence. Excellent Verbal English. Able to work in Microsoft Word and Excel. Must be able to work from own initiative and solve problems. Must be motivated and reliable. Good organisational skills. Benefits: 20 days holiday.
