We are looking for: A talented, organised and dedicated practitioner who holds the National Award for SENCo accreditation, or is prepared to complete this qualification. A practitioner who stays up to date with educational thinking and research to best support children and staff within the area of inclusion. Someone who is passionate about delivering high quality and challenging learning experiences to all children including those with SEND. An experienced teacher with practical expertise to share with staff so all children benefit. About you

To have a good knowledge & understanding of the National Curriculum and the SEN Code of Practice • Hold the National Award for SENCO (NASENCo) or be prepared to complete the qualification • To be able to work as a member of a team • To liaise with relevant staff to ensure high standards of work and behaviour are maintained • To have good interpersonal skills • To use good organisational skills and liaise with colleagues accordingly • To communicate orally and in writing effectively with colleagues, governors, outside agencies and parents • Where appropriate to provide support and training for colleagues • To keep appraised with local and national developments relating to Inclusion and be able to disseminate information as appropriate • To be familiar with Data Analysis • To be able to manage staff • To keep accurate records in accordance with the school’s policies Other information
