Company Overview:
We are recruiting for an experienced nursery practitioner to join the team on a part-time basis at our clients Ofsted Outstanding setting which has gained a fantastic reputation and is located on the Wirral. Our ideal candidate will have a passion to work with children and hold a level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification.
Key Responsibilities :
Ensure all children receive the best opportunities for learning and development and are supported to reach their full potential
Engage children in indoor and outdoor play, creating a rich and stimulating learning environment
Work as part of a professional team to maintain a positive, safe and engaging setting
Communicate effectively with other team members, giving support when needed to ensure the smooth running of the nursery
Build and maintain excellent relationships with children, their parents/carers and other staff members
Be an effective key person, maintaining accurate and effective observations
To follow and implement all Nursery policies and procedures
Essential Skills and Experience:
Enthusiastic & motivated, displaying a passion to work with young children
The ability to work as part of a team to deliver exceptional care and education within the setting
Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
Good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Level 3 Childcare/Early Years or above qualified
Recent experience in a childcare setting advantageous

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, part-time hours between the hours of 7.30am and 6pm.
