£26,123 per annum and great benefits including Health Cash Plan Home, a place where you belong This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management Coordinator to join our team here based across the Midlands area. As our Housing and Property expert, you’ll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, you’ll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to secure, long-term accommodation! Typical day as a Housing Management Coordinator Our customers have a range of support needs depending on the type of property they live in. Properties can range from high disability supported to move on housing management only support. Making sure that our customers' properties are homes they can be proud of, you’ll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies. Help our customers with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account. Where there is a need, you’ll also issue and sign warning letters and notices which may lead to attending court. Getting rooms ready for the next customers who need our help and for maximum occupancy, you’ll turn around vacant or void rooms, flats and properties within set timescales. Ensuring we are health and safety compliant and that maintenance standards are met. Fancy going home each day knowing that you have helped change our customers' lives for the better? You bring Experience in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord and housing management duties. Knowledge of re-letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed. Able to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to your colleagues. The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds. A “can do” positive attitude; you’re proactive and well-organised, and able to work on your initiative. Confident working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners. Job details Flexible working hours (or we’re open to agreeing a work pattern with you). You'll be working Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00. Based at our service in Cheltenham, you'll also cover our properties in Cheltenham and Gloucester. We also have properties in Hereford you may occasionally visit to support your colleagues. Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims and doing tenancy sign-ups. To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes.
