The North Midlands and Black Country Procurement Group (NMBC) is comprised of several NHS Trusts and is responsible for all aspects of Procurement, Supply Chain, and wider Commercial support. The NMBC manages a total non-pay spend portfolio of over £1.2b per annum. These posts sit in the Commercial Contract Management team, based at the Royal Wolverhampton New Cross site, reporting to the Head of Procurement - Commercial Contract Management within the NMBC. Main duties of the job
Commercial Contract Management and Delivery To manage an allocated contract portfolio across Black Country ICS Trusts, working collaboratively with partners and stakeholders to inform the development of a commercial contract management workplan which identifies opportunities to improve quality, value, and cost. Support the Head of Procurement - Commercial Contract Management in the development, implementation, and success of the department's objectives. Manage contract performance practice through the development of governance strategies, setting targets, and indicators. Negotiate contractual issues ensuring all procurement processes are adhered to. Analyze purchasing activity data to identify contract development opportunities. Person specification
Qualifications
Qualified to CIPS NVQ Level 4 or equivalent CIPS knowledge and/or experience. Experience
Strong purchasing skills and depth of experience across a range of supply/service areas. Skills
Ability to analyze complex information, interpret and/or present in a clear, comprehensive format. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Important information about your application
