This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a well-established team on a permanent basis as a Finance Business Partner. Client Details

My client is an international brand with a UK division that is growing rapidly. They are family-owned, with many senior stakeholders coming from a financial background, meaning that finance has a significant role in any conversation! If you are interested in working for a business that is driven by sustainability and innovation in this space, then this could be the business for you. Description

As a Finance Business Partner, you will sit in a team of 4 and be responsible for 5 P&L areas across multiple sites within the UK. You will own the P&Ls and work with the business to really understand the numbers and the key variances. There will be Capex investment that you will have to assess and analyse, and you will also be expected to get involved with month-end processes, working with the Management Accounts team to forecast and budget going forward. As a Business Partner, a huge part of your role will be to challenge stakeholders on their thinking and take them on a journey from a finance perspective. You will be expected to understand different market impacts and commodity prices and produce analysis using this to determine what has happened in the month. Profile

The successful candidate will have the following: Previous experience as a Finance Business Partner or in a similar, commercially focused role Finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). My client is ideally looking for at least 2 years' post-qualification experience Someone who can build good relationships with business stakeholders and be able to challenge when needed If you've worked in a fast-paced environment such as manufacturing or retail, that would be beneficial Social interaction skills are key; you must be able to talk to the business and explain finance to non-finance people Job Offer
