QC Chemist – 18 month FTC
Working exclusively with an international advanced pharmaceutical company, I am currently supporting a maternity cover within their QC team for one of the UK facilities based in the West Midlands.
This position is a hands-on QC chemist that will be fully trained in a sterile manufacturing setting and with the products being tested. However, the ability to work in a GMP (or similar process-driven) setting will be critical in order to hit the ground running. You will be working in a small, dynamic team and will need to be flexible and a quick learner, with a real can-do attitude.
This team is shift-based and includes night shifts; naturally, a flexible mindset is needed for this type of position.

Key experience:
Educated to degree (or equivalent level) in a Life Sciences subject Previous quality control (QC) chemistry experience Experience and/or understanding of chromatography techniques including HPLC and GC Experience with GMP/GLP principles Flexible to work shifts
