We are looking for a highly motivated nurse who is passionate about the care of patients to join our well-established critical care team in delivering a 24/7 service with the ability to work collaboratively in developing our future services.
The post involves delivering clinical leadership and expertise in the management of Level 2 and 3 patients, including paediatrics. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work confidently and collaboratively across professional boundaries.
Main duties of the job
As a Sister/Charge Nurse you will be responsible for managing a Clinical Specialist Team of registered nurses and healthcare assistants contributing to the Trust's quality and governance agenda.
You will work in partnership with the other Sisters/Charge Nurses in delivering a cohesive management approach to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Applicants must have an understanding of the current health agenda and national guidance which informs critical care practice.
Applicants will be expected to undertake internal rotation and weekend duties.
