We are currently working with an FE College in Nottingham who are looking for a Head of Department: Groundworks, Civil and Rail.
The post holder will be accountable for the success of the Groundworks, Civil and Rail curriculum and will report to the Assistant Principal for Engineering. This will also consist of 12 hours teaching responsibility.
Duties:
Approximately 12 hours a week within the Groundworks, Civil and Rail team. To help lead improvements in the teaching practice of teachers. To be a role model across the curriculum area for outstanding teaching and learning. To work with the Assistant Principal and Head of Departments to help ensure that all Groundworks, Civil and Rail Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 courses within the department are run effectively and meet awarding body, funding and Ofsted expectations and requirements.
